Obvious finishes are happening to the outside of the Flume House (as seen in the first photo). But hidden inside will be the details of how the working Flume House would looked when in operation. This is the only known example of an early 19th century Flume House that shows the interior as it would have been. It is also important to note that the view of the Flume House (first photo) is looking North.

Dartmouth High Time Capsule
Above are students from Dartmouth High and included is the School Principal Ms Eartha Bernard and their teacher Maurice Sampson. Members of the Class have been preparing a type of Time Capsule which will be placed in a cement vault located within a replica of a 19th century Power House being constructed at its original location on the Dartmouth Greenway. A turbine within the original Power House was used to transport a Marine Cradle up and down a 350 Meter plane between Halifax Harbour and Sullivan’s Pond. This capsule will remain closed for a period of fifty years at which time it will be opened by the Dartmouthians of that day.
