We have a new canoe/kayak/paddleboard launch in the headpond at Shubie Park. Thanks to Councillor Mancini for his support for the supply and installation.

Thanks to Clintar Landscape Management for giving back to the community they work in. They donated time and materials to remove the weeds from the Lock 1 walls and made a ramp at Lock 2 more accessible

Shirley Jackson and Jeff Wirchenko will be onstage this Thursday for the Rock the Lock concert series, presented by the Shubenacadie Canal Commission and Nine Locks Brewing, in Dartmouth’s Shubie Park. The concerts are from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are free of charge.  

Lemon Dogs (in the Lockside Canteen) will be open with hot food and drinks.
